1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), location data while a ride or delivery is active, order and trip history, payment metadata (never full card numbers), and verification documents for drivers and restaurant partners.
2. How we use it
To match riders with drivers, deliver orders, calculate fares, prevent fraud, verify partners, provide support and improve the service. We send transactional notifications (OTP codes, ride and order updates) by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
3. Sharing
Your first name, pickup and drop location are shared with your assigned driver; your delivery address and order are shared with the restaurant and delivery rider. We never sell personal data.
4. Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Optional analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used. You can choose essential-only from the cookie banner at any time by clearing your browser storage.
5. Retention
Trip and order records are retained for accounting and dispute purposes. Verification documents are stored securely and deleted when a partner leaves the platform.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@kohimataxi.com.
